It’s that time of year again, so dust off your favorite stiletto boots and cozy up with your favorite cashmere scarf! The Younger Woman’s Club of Louisville (YWC) and AT&T present the annual “Fall Into Fabulous” Fashion Show to be held October 7, 2010 at 7:00 pm at The Henry Clay. Louisville’s premiere fall fashion event will showcase autumn and winter looks from boutiques such as Clodhoppers, Peacock, Dressing Room, Blink, Eliz…abeth’s Timeless Attire, White House Black market, Dillards with jackets by Peter Nygard, to name a few.Our Sponsors

Style setter Angie Fenton of the Voice Tribune is our Emcee. Our own talented Ashley Casebier will be joined by Jacob Zimmer of Zymage in Directing/Producing the fashion show. Elva Fields will bejewel our models, and Ashley Casebier/Mary Kay Cosmetics and Hot Locks are our beauty partners. DJ Craig Waits of Groove Company will spin as our DJ.
Tickets are on sale now at www.ywclouisville.org/fashionshow for $45 in advance, $55 at the door. VIP tickets with reserved seating are $75 and will be available beginning August 14. Yummy fall hors d’œuvres, desserts sponsored by DMLO CPA’s and cocktails from PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur will be provided at the event. Fabulous swag bags that include samples of Rooibee Red Tea, Najlas cookies, and other surprises are just icing on the cake to make this event one to remember!
All proceeds from the event will benefit the charities of the Younger Woman’s Club of Louisville.
- Whimsical
Christan Turner, the Creative Director of NFocus magazine tried to deny being whimsical on twitter earlier this month. Turns out Jim Patterson is correct, whimsical, she is. Thank you Patti Swope for all your efforts extended to the Kentucky Humane Society. Also, let us acknowledge your involvement in the $25 million raised for the world-class Glacier Run exibit. We are so proud to be working in a community which is devoted to helping families.

- Frenchy in July
NFocus Magazine is new, and has caught the eye of Louisville. Much of this can be attributed to Pinnacle 10 talent Christan Turner, who is the Creative Director of the magazine. Her work can be seen on the covers which display her creativity, and her ability to turn a great vision into an eye-catching reality. She doesn’t do it alone though, she creates with the regions top photographers every month. Christan is also helping Louisville know what’s in style with Trends 10, which was shown in the debut issue of the magazine (July 2010) and will feature again in the upcoming September issue.
On this month’s cover is Heather French Henry, who won the title of Miss America in 2000. Not only is she known in the pageant world, Heather is now making a name for herself in the world of fashion, with her own line of formal and pageant gowns. Her beautiful, one of a kind gowns can be found in shops and boutiques across the country, including many locations in Kentucky. Whether you are on the pageant stage, going to prom, or the perfect dress for that special night out, there is a dress for you in one of Heather’s three collections of beautiful dresses and gowns. Laurenne has been placed with an agency in Seoul, Korea and will be traveling on June 25. Laurenne has an amazing amount of tears in her book now; we can’t wait to see her book when she returns!

- COMING SOON! Zeugma Book
Our latest literary project called Zeugma Book should soon hit the book shelves. Zeugma Book is a photography and creative hardback coffee table book. This art is being led by Andrew Kung/Principal Photographer-Pinnacle 10 and Christan Turner/President -Pinnacle 10. Andrew Kung will showcase dramatic and surreal photographic artwork then fuse it with one of the most promising and passionate creative directors in the region, Christan Turner. All of these scenes were brought to you by the entire Pinnacle roster, in appreciation for Louisville and the surrounding communities. In the Zeugma book you will find reflections of yourself through the eyes of artists who too appreciate Louisville landmarks such as Proof, Churchill Downs, Slugger Field, Louisville Zoo, and many more.
